Obtaining Pulsed Plasma Flows in Coaxial Plasma Accelerator with Erosion of Dielectric,

Abstract

Electromagnetic pulsed accelerators with dielectric erosion operating at powers of approximately 10 to the 8th power W are used for plasma acceleration. Such accelerators have proven to be effective devices in which a considerable portion of the energy originally stored in the capacitor bank is converted into kinetic plasma energy. Presented in the present work are some results of a study on pulsed plasma flows, which were obtained by means of such accelerators at powers approximately 10 to the 10th power W.
