Selection of Strains of Some Microbe Species for the Preparation of Allergens,

Abstract

The author studied the allergenic properties of eight strains of Streptococci group A, eight strains of Enterococci and three strains of yeast-like fungi Candida albicans. It was established that: some strains of the above-mentioned microbes differ in their allergic properties; the incidence of the detected skin reactions in rhinosinusopathies and bronchial asthma, and the degree of their intensity depends on the sensibinzogenic properties of the microbe strain used for the preparation of allergens. It is assumed that strains of microbes possessing good allergenic properties should be used for the preparation of microbic allergens, applied for skin tests and for sensitization.
