The Courses of Development of Contemporary Allergology in Dermatology,

Abstract

At present the necessity for a comprehensive discussion of the basic developmental trends of contemporary allergology in dermatology is imminent. The primary problems are the following: the development of classification of allergic dermatoses; research on the role of allergic and toxic components in the development of allergic reaction; the genetic aspects of allergy; endocrinological damage, including a change in the functions of the thyroid, parathyroid and thymus; drug allergy; the problem of directed influence on immunogenesis in allergic dermatosis; the problem of skin as a barrier; questions of histaglobin-, serotonin- and bradikinin-therapy.
