Thermal Annealing of Radiation Damage in Alkali Metal Nitrates,

Abstract

Thermal annealing of irradiated alkali metal nitrates was studied by determining the residual and initial concentrations of nitrite ion and total NO + NO2. The rate and extent of annealing increase with increase in free volume of the crystal.
