Optical Constants of Gold Films and Optical Transmittance for Semiconductors and Au-GaAs and Au-GaP Photocells within the 254-644 nm Range,

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine for the visible and ultraviolet region of the spectrum the values of refractive index, absorption index and thickness in gold coatings of various thicknesses obtained under certain technological conditions which are useful in the manufacture of surface-battery photoelectric cells.
