Synthesis of Antennas on the Basis of Experimental Data,

Abstract

Methods of constructing antennas based on experimental data of radiation patterns are analyzed. The physical interpretation of complex-domain operators in the theory of antennas synthesis is given. The application emphasized is designing antennas for placement near bodies of complex geometrical configuration when theoretical calculation of diffraction phenomena in the electromagnetic field is difficult.
