Investigation of the Strength and Service Life of Machine Parts and Structures in the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic,

Abstract

A research program carried out in Czechoslovakia into the strength and service life of machine parts has proved to be extremely useful. Tests were carried out for fatigue, brittle fracture and fracture at high temperatures on various metals used in the construction industry.
