Investigation of the Service Life of the YAMZ Engine Parts,

Abstract

This article analyzes the measurements taken during YAMZ engine overhauls. By observing the wear and operational clearances of various engine parts, the scientists were able to compare actual performance with expected results. In this way an effective service life of the engine parts could be predicted and a maintenance schedule forecast.
