ONR Contract.

Abstract

The report summarizes work done in Nuclear Physics at the School of Physics and Astronomy during the period March 1, 1970 to November 15, 1974. The work involved the employment of mass spectroscopic techniques to the measurement of various atomic and nuclear properties. A brief description of the program is made. A list of publications is given for work partially or totally supported under this contract. Also a list of students who received support under the contract is presented together with the M.S. or Ph.D. Thesis topics. Research performed under this contract was in three general areas of mass spectroscopy: determination of atomic masses and other nuclear properties, measurement of rare gases in meteorites and lunar samples, and instrument development.
