A Comparative Study of Allergy during Infection by Tubercular Mycobacteria by Means of Experiment,

Abstract

Presented are the results of the comparative study of allergy to a tubercular antigen and the immunologic reactions of the organism during infection by tubercular mycobacteria of the human-, bull-, and poultry-type and by Phlei mycobacteria. The investigation is conducted with 34 dogs. Contamination was conducted intrapulmonarily with 0.0002 mg/kg. The strains were obtained from the Institute of Tuberculosis of the Academy of Medical Sciences, USSR. Cultures were grown on the Pavlovsky medium for three weeks.
