A Scoring System for the Quantitative Evaluation of Pilot Performance During Instrument Landing System (ILS) Approaches and Landings.

Abstract

The Crew Station Design Facility at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has developed a quantitative method of evaluating pilot performance during ILS approaches and landings. This has been used and refined over a series of studies. Work is proceeding on further developments of the system to extend its use beyond ILS approaches. (Author)
