Methods for Changing the Stress Field Parameters during Blasting Operations in Ejection-Prone Rock

Abstract

The stress field resulting from blasting is briefly discussed along with results of experiments that permit a quantitative evaluation of the possibility of decreasing the magnitude of stresses during blasting with the use of padding.
