The Effect of Strain Rate on the Cyclic Response of Metals.

Abstract

Unidirectional and cyclic strain hardening parameters were measured for several metals and alloys. Cyclic measurements were made under fully reversed strain control at constant strain rates between 0.003 and 0.3/sec. The cyclic strain hardening followed a power law relationship with no distinct dependence upon strain rate. (Author)
