NATO; A Viable Defense Organization.

Abstract

There has been great concern expressed by many of the Western powers over the cohesiveness and military effectiveness of the NATO Alliance. A concept is presented, which permits NATO to evolve from its current status to the creation of a new organizational structure permitting Western Europe as a whole to become an economic, military and political force on parity with the USSR and the United States.
