Disintegration of Electrodes in Pulsed Plasma Accelerators,

Abstract

The erosion of copper electrodes in pulsed plasma accelerators of conical and coaxial geometry with a solid dielectric - polytetrafluoroethylene-4 - was studied. The main purpose of the present article is to establish the qualitative patterns of electrode disintegration in pulsed plasma accelerators.
