Abstract
Volume two of a five volume report on recreational water use presents methodology for estimating the initial use at prospective Corps of Engineers reservoirs. The procedure described utilizes the most similar project concept; i.e., an existing reservoir that is most comparable in size, operation, and anticipated recreation-use characteristics. Relating recreation-use information from an existing reservoir to a reservoir under study provides the basis for the use estimating technique. (Modified author abstract)
