The Immunogenic and Allergenic Antigens of Mycobacteria,

Abstract

Joint studies were carried out for evaluating the experimental methods and test-systems, on the basis of which it is assumed that the dependence of immunity and allergy in the case of tuberculosis can be judged. The obtained preliminary materials indicate the need for an account of the differences in the skin of the microorganism's allergic and immunological response to vaccine preparations depending on which animals are used in the experiment and in which modifications of the preparations themselves are used. Based on the available experience, it is necessary to continue studies on this problem, after restricting the number of tested vaccines and test-systems in order to obtain materials that are more in depth and more accessible for comparative analysis.
