Heat Circuits of Thermoelectric Devices,

Abstract

A general discussion of thermoelectric devices is followed by a detailed mathematical analysis of the efficiency, temperature fields at the thermocouple junctions, the power level, etc. of various electrical power generator and refrigerator configurations. Single and two-stage designs of these devices are analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. A basic contrast between permeable and monolithic thermocouples is extensively developed in the book.
