Ignition of Aluminum Wire,

Abstract

Developed in the work is an electrothermographic approach to studying the ignition of metals, which is based on the programmed heating of a thin metal filament in a flow of an oxidizer gas. The given method was used to conduct a study on the ignition of aluminum wire in a flow of pure oxygen at atmospheric pressure.
