Calculating Composition and Electrical Conductivity of Heterogeneous Combustion Products of Chemical Fuels,

Abstract

In order to calculate the electrophysical properties of the heterogeneous combustion products of chemical fuels the composition of neutral and charged substances in both the gaseous and condensed states must first be reliably determined. Strict determination of the composition of ionized heterogeneous products requires joint solution of the equations of chemical and ionization equilibrium for all substances found in different phase states. To determine the composition of ionized heterogeneous products in this study the method, developed by the authors, of jointly solving the solution to the equations of the chemical and ionized equilibriums for gaseous and condensed substances was used. A modified method calculating the composition has been developed for the case where the substance in the condensed state does not have a gas phase or for the case where the degree of dissociation of the gas phase is insignificant.
