Calculation of Propagation Rate of Flame in Gas Suspension of Solid Fuel Particles,

Abstract

The authors investigate the problem of the propagation of a two-dimensional flame front in the one-dimensional flow of a suspension of single-dispersed solid fuel particles in a gas containing an oxidizer. The propagation rate of the flame is considered to be the rate of movement of the original gas suspension at which stationary longitudinal fields of temperatures and concentrations of reagents become possible.
