Approximate Theory for the Resolution of Coherent Radar,

Abstract

A theorem was developed which allows the resolution of coherent radar systems by dividing the observed trajectory into parts, within each of which the phase changes monotonically. The relative resolution may then be calculated for each of the parts after which they are summed.
