On the Stability of Modulation Transfer Functions of Photographic Films under Various Processing Conditions,

Abstract

The manner in which different conditions of development influence the values of modulation transfer functions (MTF)s obtained has been examined; the effect on contrast, average projection area of the grains, relative sensitivity and resolving power have been considered, and some experimental results are tabulated.
