Electromagnetic Methods of Distance Measurement and Calculation of the Influence of External Conditions,

Abstract

A report is made on lectures given at the 15th General Assembly of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics. Various speakers touched on the use of new equipment for more accurate measurement of lines and angles. In spite of several innovations, not enough work had been done, in the field, to prove the efficiency of techniques developed in the laboratory.
