Orthogonal-Polynomial Contoured Trend-Surface Maps for Irregularly-Spaced Data.

Abstract

A FORTRAN 4 computer program for producing contoured trend-surface maps for irregularly-spaced data on the basis of the orthogonal-polynomial model is provided. The (z sup 2)-array is computed to permit identification and mapping of the true trend.
