Computer Software: Testing, Reliability Models, and Quality Assurance.

Abstract

A study of the problems of measuring and assuring the quality of computer software is made. A quantitative measure of software quality is defined, and various mathematical models for estimating that measure of effectiveness are presented. Software testing methodology, data requirements and data collection procedures are discussed. Also included is a discussion of the customer's role in software quality assurance.
