Abstract

This document is the Computer Program Design Specification (CPDS) for the Partioned Interface Equipment (PIE) Assembler Program (PAP). The PAP consists of software to accomplish the following functions: (1) Perform conversion of statements written in PIE mnemonic language into PIE executable machine code. (2) Provide object program output on paper tape. (3) Print program and assembled code listings. (4) Provide diagnostic output to help isolate programmer syntax and logic errors. NELC TD 357 is the Computer Subprogram Design Document (CSDD) for the Partioned Interface Equipment (PIE) Assembler Subprogram (PAS).
