Radiation and Driving-Point Impedance Characteristics of a Magnetic Loop Antenna in a Two-Warm Species Magnetoplasma: Formulation.

Abstract

A formulation is presented for the problem of a magnetic loop antenna radiation in a collisionless multicomponent magnetoplasma with two warm species (electrons and one type of ions). Explicit forms of the dispersion equation and the integral form of input impedance for a loop oriented either parallel or perpendicular to the static magnetic field are derived.
