Development of Photographic Material,

Abstract

For photographic material developed in a hydroxybenzene or aminophenol developer, improvement in the photographic sensitivity, rate of development, thickness of developed image, stability of developer, and its resistance to the inhibiting action of bromides are obtained when arylenedipyrazoidones of the general formula ((pyrazolinone)-(phenylene)-X-(phenylene)-(pyrazolinone)), where X is O or CH2CH2, are added to the developer.
