Prospects for Constructing a Strength Criterion for Complex Loads,
Abstract
The discussion and investigation into a preliminary mathematical model for the strength criterion to be used during simple and symmetric cyclic loading. The criterion covers several cases of loading, simple loading, when the results obtained are close to those in the Davidenkov - Fridman theory, and in the symmetric cyclic loading when results are similar to those obtained using the Koffin criterion. Much work is still to be done in connection with this new criterion, since it is by no means conclusive or indisputable.
