Effect of Humidity and Aerosol Concentration on Atmospheric Transparency,

Abstract

The effect of water vapor and aerosol content on atmospheric transparency in the Kiev area is characterized in this article. Measurements of direct solar radiation and radiosonde data of the vertical distribution of specific humidity in the 1954-1961 period were used.
