Abstract

AI3-36158-Ga (Piperidine, 2-methyl-1-(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-propenyl)-, (E)-), AI3-36161-Ga (Piperidine, 2-ethyl-1-(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-propenyl)-, (E)-) and AI3-36164-Ga (Quinoline, 1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-1-(2-methyl-1-oxo-2-propenyl), (E))-) which are candidate repellents, were evaluated on New Zealand White rabbits for their potential to cause skin irritation. The data obtained serves as a basis for a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of these compounds.
