Primary Irritation Evaluation Program Study,

Abstract

Morpholine, 4-pelargonyl (AI3-18284), 1-H-Azepine, hexahydro-1-valeryl (AI3-35463-bGb), Pyrrolidine, 1-butyryl (AI3-35467-aGa), Heptanamide, N,N-dipropyl (AI3-35509-aGb) and Valeramide, N,N-dibutyl (AI3-35511-bGb) which are candidate repellents were evaluated on New Zealand White rabbits for their potential to cause skin irritation. The data obtained serve as a basis for making a recommendation concerning their potential use on humans. This recommendation is intended only for guidance in further entomological testing of this compound.
