Some Results of a Study of the Spectral Attenuation of Irradiation by the Surface Layer of the Atmosphere,

Abstract

Results of studying spectral attenuation of infrared radiation of the surface lsyer of the atmosphere were very promising. In spite of variations in spectral behavior of infrared attenuation coefficients of alpha(lamda) in haze, one can predict them quite accurately by the Mie theory. It is possible to forecast where uniform optical properties in aerosol can be expected.
