A Production Engineering Measure for Two L-Band Solid-State Microwave Frequency Sources.
Abstract
A Production Engineering Measure (PEM) for two L-Band Solid-State Microwave Frequency Sources was continued. These two devices are a Radiosonde Modulator/Transmitter and an FM Power Source. The Pilot Production run of 500 Radiosonde units was completed during this report period. An excellent production yield was obtained and no major problems were encountered. The 500 units were delivered to complete all work on the Radiosonde Modulator/Transmitter (Unit A). First Article testing of the FM Power Source was successfully completed during this period and the test report is being prepared. Plans have been made for the pilot production run of 500 units.
