Piezoelectric Surface Waves on LiNbO3,

Abstract

This article presents the results of an analysis of a uniform Z-propagating piezoelectric surface wave upon a y-cut LiNbO3 substrate. Two cases are created: an infinite plane interface between the substrate and free space, and a lightly metallized surface where inertial loading and stiffness of the metal film are neglected.
