Development of a Zero-G Gauging System. Volume III.

Abstract

A configuration of the nucleonic gauging system denoted the 'Flight Test Article,' which is suitable to demonstrate gauging performance in a zero-g environment as provided by the Zero-G KC-135 aircraft flying a parabolic trajectory, was designed, fabricated, and delivered to NASA. Contents include the following: Flight test article: general system description; Test objective; Test description; Assembly and installation: general; System operation; Conduct of the flight tests; Data reduction; Radiation safety (mandatory reading).
