Rocket-Borne Solar Extreme Ultraviolet Double Spectrophotometer.

Abstract

The report describes the design, development, and fabrication of a solar extreme ultraviolet double spectrophotometer for sounding rockets. The instrument consists of a grazing-incidence grating spectrophotometer (Type I), a normal-incidence grating spectrophotometer (Type II), and an auxiliary ultraviolet photometer. The report also describes the design and fabrication of ground support equipment (GSE) for the two instruments and field services supporting the launch of the instrument.
