Production Engineering Measure for Improved Reliability of Metallized Polycarbonate and Metallized Polysulfone Capacitors.
Abstract
The 11,550 Polysulfone Capacitors of the First Production Run continued on the 10,000 hour Extended Life Test at +125C and at rated voltage in accordance with Specification MIL-C-39022, paragraph 4.6.18.3.1. The elapsed times to date are 8,942, 8,562 and 8,284 hours for capacitors in ovens 1, 2 and 3 respectively. The 8000 hour sample check of 300 capacitors is discussed.
