Arrayed Display of Price Index Variation: Some Observations,

Abstract

One of the most difficult aspects of a control program is monitoring the price changes of many commodities in a meaningful fashion. The purpose of this paper is to suggest one possible tool which might be useful in observing the interaction of many price indices at a given moment or over a period of time, thereby creating an overview of relative price trends. It is a report on the development of the arrayed display technique, including some applications of the method and some preliminary results.
