Ray Emissivity Due to Gyro-Synchrotron Radiation in Magnetoactive Plasma.

Abstract

It is shown that the ray emissivity due to gyro-synchrotron radiation in magnetoactive plasma can be obtained from the wave-normal emissivity without explicitly calculating the electric and magnetic fields of the radiating electron. Errors in the ray emissivity formula in the current literature are discussed.
