Ephemeral Active Regions in 1970 and 1973.

Abstract

The work reported here was undertaken to learn more about the spatial distribution of Ephemeral active regions (ER), lifetime, solar cycle variation, and association with major active centers. Primary consideration was given to the question of whether or not ER represent, in part, a new class of solar activity or are simply small active regions.
