ARPA Policy-Formulation Interrogation Network

Abstract

This report describes the findings of a project to develop a network conferencing capability. Six versions of a program named FORUM have been written and tested in a variety of applications. In addition, limited experience with the development of a voice capability is reported. The documents appended to this report provide greater detail on the architecture and operation of the network conferencing program (FORUM-5) and of the file structure supporting a more advanced prototype (FORUM-6).
