Improved Force Modeling System (SPECIFOR). Part I. Executive Summary. Part II. Programmer's Summary. Part III. User's Guide.

Abstract

The Improved Force Modeling System (SPECIFOR) provides an interface between the Force Accounting System and the Constrained Force Model, CONFORM. Its purpose is to facilitate the optional structuring of current peacetime army forces using the allocation rules that exist for longer range wartime army forces. This connection to the FAS provides for the first time a capability for modeling the units in the FAS. This modeling capability now enables constrained alternative forces to generated using FAS units.
