System Definition for Army Wired Garrison C-E Design. Volume I. Executive Summary.

Abstract

The System Definition Study Phase for Army Wired Garrison C-E Design has resulted in the selection of Ft. Bliss, Texas as the testbed garrison, the identification of candidate services for evaluation in the testbed and the preparation of a preliminary testbed implementation plan. The rationale used in rank-ordering the testbed garrison candidates is described. Analysis of user information transfer needs has identified the administrative and training functions as the prime mission areas for evaluation. Two alternative implementation approaches for the testbed are proposed; estimated programs costs and schedules are presented. The volume, provides an overview of the work performed.
