Abstract
The purpose of the appendix is to describe progress on needs research and to make broad commentary upon the statement of needs that has been made in earlier parts of this report, particularly in Section 3.3 of Volume II. Further, it presents certain data together with analysis of these data obtained during specific visits in order to sample Army needs.
