Automation in Printing Negatives of Varying Density,

Abstract

For normal slide preparation, simultaneous printing of frames from negatives is hindered by variations of densities in individual frames. A masking method has been developed. A mask is made for each frame, and it is placed in the printing machine with the negative film, and automatic light control is provided for the final printing.
