Technical Means that Ensure High Physical and Mechanical Properties of Machine Parts,

Abstract

The production methods used in fabricating machine parts from steels and alloys are generally discussed with emphasis given to the problems associated with precision large scale casting. Solutions to some of these problems are noted where vitreous enamels, contour casting, etc. have been successfully employed with medium and high strength steels and alloys.
