The Determination of Voids in Carbon Fibre Composites,

Abstract

Carbon fibre/resin composites were examined by a modified radiographic technique to determine the extent and distribution of voids within them. Shear and transverse strength measurements were made on the composites and the effects of the voids on these properties were investigated.
