Definition of a Dimensionless Value of a Quantitative Index Characterizing the Performance of a Scientific Research Institute,
Abstract
A composite index in the form of the weighted mean of the individual indices is proposed as a measure of the performance level of a Scientific Research Institute in an Industry. The measure can also be used to compare the performance levels of a number of Institutes in the same industry.
